Exploring ideas and experiences at the intersection of business, engineering, and strategy — and sharing what I learn along the way.
About Me
Hi, I’m İlayda — a final-year Industrial Engineering student graduating in six months, with experience in strategy, project management and data analysis. I’m particularly interested in the technology and finance intersects..
Right now, I’m preparing for a career in management consulting, building on my experiences at the Deutsche Börse AG, DB Schenker, and entrepreneurship roles at Arya Women Investment Platform and Yıldız Teknopark. Along the way, I’m constantly learning new concepts, tools, and perspectives that help me approach problems with both analytical precision and strategic insight.

“And I’m telling you, Bob, with a body like that, a face like that, and legs like hers, she’s gonna be a Victoria’s Secret supermodel.”
“And I’m telling you, Bob, with a GPA like that, résumé like that, and a skillset like hers, she’s gonna be a McKinsey consultant.”
This site is where I share my thoughts, notes, and observations on business, strategy, and problem-solving — along with ideas and insights I find worth exploring. Sometimes it’s a framework or methodology, sometimes a real-world example, and sometimes a concept that challenges the way I think.
I believe that learning compounds — the more you explore and share, the more valuable your perspective becomes. This site is both my personal knowledge base and an open notebook, documenting what I’m currently exploring at the intersection of engineering thinking, business strategy, and finance.
If you’re also interested in strategy, consulting, or the evolving space where finance and technology meet, I’d be happy to connect. You can reach me via Linkedin or email.
